Mt Bachelor Oregon Apres Ski Lounge - Carved Pine Wall Hanging Sign
After a long, fun day of skiing, you need to unwind with a cold beer or a cocktail... which is what "apres ski" means - "after ski". So if you return home after skiing and have your own in cabin lounge, this is the sign for you! It is by far one of the coolest signs we have made!
The sign is two pieces, the topper part says "Mt Bachelor" and the arrow sign hangs below that with hook and eye hardware. It is made of pine wood. I digitally carve the words and into the wood so they are recessed. Then I hand paint the recessed words and graphics. The arrow part of the sign was done with two different stains. I first stained it black and then sanded most of it off, and then went over it with white stain so it has a wintery, weathered look. Then it gets a coat of varnish to seal it.
