Sunriver Oregon Our Happy Place Canoe Sign - Carved Pine Wood

If you live in Sunriver, Oregon, this is the sign for you.  As you know, living here is it's own lifestyle that we love.

I do this sign in pine (as shown) as well as in cedar.  The pine is a more upscale version.

This sign is made on knotty pine wood that gives it a real rustic look.  I digitally carve the words into the wood so they are recessed (see second photo).  I round route the edges then I hand paint the words and give the sign a coat of light Ipswitch Pine stain.  Then it gets a coat of varnish to seal it.
