Aqua Ripple Effect - Lampwork Bead Set by Dragynsfyre Designs - SRA

There isn't a lot of "skill" in these beads, they are basically just large and small spacer beads. But the Glass I used in the larger beads is pretty awesome. I really tried to capture the "ripples" inside the glass, but I think you will need to see them to fully appreciate them. I used a veiled cane of aqua glass which gives the glass the look of a ripple in a calm pool of water. I made pale transparent aqua spacer beads to go with them. This is not common glass and can be hard to find. Take advantage of these while you can!

Total # of beads: 15 (7 focals and 8 spacers)
Bead Size: Medium and small
Bead Measurements: Focals are about 12-13mm in diameter, spacers are about 10-11mm in diameter

Glass used: Soft glass 90, 96 or 104 COE
Mandrel/Hole Size: 1/16" for minimal “wobble” when stringing.

Of course, all of my beads are annealed in a temperature controlled kiln overnight to settle the glass molecules and give them strength. But, keep in mind, they are GLASS and will still break if not handled properly.
